aue0504 audio a_und_e netlabels These are the remindings of the brilliant postrock band 'hallo bürste'. Founded in 1992 they composed a sound now getting more and more popular and today related to bands like 'godspeed you! black emperor' or 'bohren & the club of gore'. But 'hallo bürste' had a split in 1995. Just a perfect concert at the cologne based 'underground' together with the us band 'souled american' made them believe that there was nothing more to come. Nothing more could be done or said. So they splitted just at the climax of their success. We met the former member of 'hallo bürste' - Jens Bötel - at a party last year and he talled us the story of his former band. We were really fascinated. And he and the other former members shared the idea of publishing the recordings of 'hallo bürste'. We release them now - what else could we do? Jörg Follert (Guitar) now is member of 'Elektrotechnik Wunder'and 'Wechsel Garland'. Christoph Clöser (Drums) now is member of 'Ugly Culture' and 'Bohren & the Club of Gore' Stefan Brandt (Bass) is now playing bass at 'Spokoj'. Jens Bötel (Guitar) happily enjoys life in Bochum. We know why.
